Is there a specific compiler that is good for c++ or one that is better than the rest or more user friendly? I haven't programmed in over ten years, and just need to get back into it. I programmed before all the visual basic and c++ compilers, so this is all new to me, thanks for your help.

You could use Microsoft Visual Studios 2013 or eclipse.
