thanks for the reply, i guess i can try with c# since they seem quite similar in language although would you by any chance be able to teach or assist me with the coding as this would be the first tool i created let alone the first c# application that does more then display a text message and play music. i have a greater knowledge with visual basic although it doesn't seem many people are creating tuts on how to create the tool with visual basic so maybe if you were willing to it would be appreciated if you could help me. thanks
