(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, I was making a useful program from scratch last night and well basically its a program that converts Celsius to Fahrenheit.

I think its quite useful especially if your from the UK and want to know what the temperature is in Fahrenheit. And if you taking science classes and don't understand Celsius you can convert it to Fahrenheit.

And its not going to be a GUI but its going to be a "system console" application. It runs in CMD.

I will be making a two in one program GUI sometime in the future, where you can toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius and Celsius and Fahrenheit.

Which code did you use for this? I am also new in programming and did exactly the same for my first homework this semester, was in java running in the console only.

I used C++. I have a new version I made. I made it switchable between both Celsius to Fahrenheit and Fahrenheit to Celsius.

But I used C++.

Thanks man. Once I get decent with the GUI I'm going to make a lot of "School Tools" with a really nice GUI and release it. I just have to wait till I get another PC in. I'm sure that when I make the whole kit I could sell it for a good $5. But I'd rather to keep it freeware.

Hey Rath did you start to learn gl with sfml? I am going to start the minecraft game in c++. I have a block glass all set with enums for the certain block types.

Did you find this in a book called "C++ for dummies"? I have the same exact thing that I made

Nope. If you saw the final product you'd be amazed. It's GUI and it has a switching variable to choose between Fahrenheit and Celsius

I want to see this 'GUI', is it perhaps fancy text in the console? or an actually windows interface with buttons.
