I gotta say, C# is just C++ for Noobs. No joke. I mean its just for the lazy programmers that don't want to clean up their pointers. I mean there is an extensive set of helper libraries, but you can get so much more with C++ by simply installing a library. C++ is also compatible with about every platform.

Now Python, that is great for prototyping but you shouldn't use it to release actual applications.

C++, it's really got a lot of functionality and what not to it. powerful stuff. but i'm not going to say i dislike c# or python, both are powerful languages, it's just c++ is my choice.

Haven't had much to do with C++ yet as I'm still learning a lot of the overall ideas that can be used to create applications. If anything though on what I read, I too will have to agree that C++ is the better choice.

I have to agree with you on this. I haven't even started learning C++, but I've looked at the code. It does look very much like how you explained. :3

This is sort of an impossible decision to make since they're all use differently. People who say C++ is the best because it offers the most power and functionality have a flawed argument, because that would indicate that we are apparently grading a language as "best" simply because it offers the most functionality, which isn't even necessarily true. A language that's easier to use, that offers an extensive, powerful framework, such as C# should be equally as good as C++. Just because someone chooses something easier doesn't make them a "noob", it makes them practical. The key is really choosing the best tool for the job. When you go to develop a program, in most cases, you choose a variety of libraries and frameworks to rely on, as opposed to building all them from scratch, which is a pointless waste of time.

The reason why no "best language" can be decided is because there are so many scales in which to grade a language, and the intended use may vary from language to language.
