This Tutorial will demonstrate how to hack a Mac running Lion even on the latest version/update. This is a very easy tutorial less than 10 Steps! User Friendly.



Follow the steps below exactly as show below and you should have no problem!

NOTICE: This is not a stealth hack where the original owner won't know something is up. This is mostly for people who 'borrow' someone's Mac. This tutorial will only change the login password to where you can login and create a new Admin account to have full control of the Mac. if this is done you will not have access to the KeyChain (where all there passwords are saved, it is only accessible with the original password for that user. You will however have full access to the computer information, files, and System Preferences. So lets get started!

Step 1.) First make sure you the Mac you hacking in running. If the login screen has a Metal/Gray background and show the WI-FI icon,battery icon etc on top then that Mac is running Lion/Mountain Lion. If not then unfortunately it is running on a lower Mac Operating System. The Login Screen should look like the screen shown below.

Step 2.) If the Mac is On then Shut Down.


Step 3.) Power the Mac On, then immediately start holding down : Command+R until you see the screen shown below.

Step 4.) Now that your in Mac OS X Utilities, Click Utilities on the top of the screen and click Terminal as shown below. A Terminal Window should pop up.

Step 5.) On Terminal type : resetpassword Then press Enter. The window shown below should pop up. Select Macintosh HD, then select the Username you want to hack and enter the new password you want for that user, Reenter it on the line below and Click Save. (You can add a Hint if you want, it's not mandatory)

Step 6.) Close all the windows until you get back to the screen shown below.

Step 7.) Click on Mac OS X Utilities on the top and quit it.

Step 8.) Click Restart, boot normally(without holding any keys down) and now you should be able to Login with the password you just set for that User!

Congratulations! You Successfully hacked a Mac!!
