Post: Best place to learn Java?
10-12-2013, 04:07 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); My college use Java for programming and well, I want to go to uni after college and they also use Java, problem is that the college doesn't actually intend to teach us Java thoroughly... well I want to get into the second year of a CS degree rather than the first and the only thing that would stop me from doing that would be if my knowledge of Java is shit, so I need to learn it in my spare time so that 's not the case. I've already done a hello world exercise with JDK installed and compiled plus ran the script in cmd so anyone here that knows Java thoroughly want to share where they learnt it or what resources they used even if it's just books?

Helpful replies will be thanked.

The best place to start would be to find videos on youtube and get the basic syntax down then actually go to the oracle website and get the tutorials straight from the people who created the language.
