We have a kid who does this at my school until my digital media teacher wiped his USB while he was doing it and now he can't use computers as long as he's in our high school :p

I got banned from lessons for a full week for accessing the files of all individuals through... a 'shortcut'. Yes, shortcut. I said to them, "It's not my fault the network staff play games rather than worry about the security" :P

Easy way - Start > Computer > Look at the left side column > Look for Network > Right click hit connect to computer.
