However, all the advice I see are "download ____ antivirus and run a scan! it's the best", etc. I'd like to suggest a set of guidelines to follow if you are infected and want help:

1. Run a full system scan with your antivirus. Make sure it is up to date.


2. Download and install either/all of the following:

Run a full scan with either/all. Let it remove anything it finds.
