(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i just bought a macbook (may, 2006) and i tried to install OS X on it (because it had no hdd before) and OS X Versions 10.1-10.4 wont show up and Version 10.5-10.8 say not supported what do i do?

I'm not that familiar with Mac, but don't MacBook hard drives have a specific firmware installed on them to allow the installation of OS/X? I'm not sure how you'd go about installing that firmware on a different hard drive, though.

Though, I can't really give my advice as the last Apple computer I owned was a Powerbook G4. XD
