I just upgraded my laptop to windows 8.1 PRO

and when i play a game E.G minecraft

i get this

oh and if i try update a driver i get this

Any way if i get a random driver off my laptop my screen resolution fucks up.

Please don't tell me your the type of person who upgrades/gets a new computer and fails to completely set it up :|

Best way to avoid errors like that is to keep your computer up to date... you probably didn't update windows after you upgraded your computer, which would explain how your video card is not up to date.

Well you shouldn't be getting your graphics drivers from windows updates anyways. You should always go to the manufacturer for those.

I was implying that you should check and install all available updates, using windows update as the prime example seeing as he had just upgraded his computer which would have hundreds of windows updates available.

Well it's a video driver problem. Windows update would be a bad solution for that. Updating everything else would be nice but not required. Yea it will probably give you an "updated" outdated driver. They don't usually have the most up to date version.
