What kind of errors?

I am getting failed to boot errors.could it have been from menus I downloaded that had viruses hidden in them?

No i don't think the menus had anything to do with it not being able to boot uninstall the version u have now and get the newest update of it if you don't already have it

Could that have been crashing my hard drive tho. I got it recovered and I don't want it happening again
