will my laptop be able to handle it, when recording from the PS3 to the hauppauge to the laptop?

Can't see why it wouldn't be able to handle it. I'm not expert on these capture devices, but I can't see a reason why the computer wouldn't be able to handle it.

No I think that will do fine. You have a great processor, decent RAM and a high end GFX card. There shouldn't be any problems

it should i used a HD pvr right before when i bought a computer i used a laptop should work
