So I've been wondering is there any way to make a significant improvement to my download/upload speed?

There are a lot of different things you can use to increase your download speed, such as a different browser or upgrading your Operating System and Ram. But the best way to increase it would be to switch your ISP (Internet Service Provider.) A few months ago I switched to AT&T U-Verse and my download speed is noticeably better than what it was before.

Phone up your isp and go ape shit, if they dont give you what your paying for then its time for the bombs i sent you

The best i get is like 2.2Mb lmao, try a better modem/router, thats all you can do without changing ur isp.

There are tons of little ways to improve your connection here and there, download accelerators, port forwarding, etc. But nothing like this is really going to significantly improve your internet speed.

If you really want some improvement, buy a new router. They're often cheap and if you have an old one now it will improve a lot.
Also, if you don't already have it, switch to Fiber Optics/Cable.
