Are you high?
If you are trying to add pictures to make a video, I would suggest animoto.com I have made a few videos on there. They have good slide transitions and stuff. It's kind of like windows movie maker, but it is better imo.

Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere Pro. They are both very expensive, though, you get what you pay for. And if you render in the right settings the file can be made alot smaller.
