This thread spells flame war, but that's beside the point. What aspect do you want to discuss?

Maybe technologically, but AMD definitily wins in the
Price-to-Performance market. And the new bulldozer platform that AMD will be revealing within the next year or so, is supposed to be quite impressive.

Price isnt a big deal if you want preformance. Intel-pay high get good tech. AMD-pay high get eh.

With AMD you dont pay high, or you can pay out the ass for intel (Which i dont mind, in some cases) and a performance increase that you wont realize in realtime, only benchmarks, unless your one of those people that try to compare something completely unfair like AMDs original single core precoessor and a 980x from intel.

AMD and Intel have not been locked in a struggle for computer processor supremacy since the beginning of time but it sure seems that way. When AMD announced a few new CPU models a week or so ago. With these new models, and Intel’s Core i3 series, there is a huge variety of choice in all price ranges. But it is particularly interesting in the $100-150 range for a number of reasons. First of all, it is a pretty good ’sweet spot’ to spend when building a new system.
