I get this on my other laptop which I upgraded from vista, I got windows 7 Ultimate from the premium section installed it and now every so often I get that error message and I can't do a reset to factory settings to get vista back, feels bad man, wish I hadn't done it in the first place.

All you need to do is download a program/crack that makes windows genuine and so it doesn't shutdown every 2 hours like Microsoft said xD

If you're actually meant to have a legit copy, ring up microsoft or something. Otherwise the win7 cracks work wonders now. Even microsoft marks them as legit cos they've given up temporarily

i use something called remove wat which stands for windows activation technogies just google it and you shud find a download link

yeh ive used the lastest activation crack, and remove what.!

but dw uninstalled that 1033 update and it seems to be fine

Wrong. Mine has been non-legit for months now and it works fine.

"1033 update"? If you go to Control Panel > System Security > Installed Updates, which update is that? Like what "KB_______" is in brackets next to it? Smile
