(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Can anyone suggest any good external hard drives for under $100? Preferably cheap because I spent all my cash on a car and I'm out of money now.

I'm only using this so I can run mac os x on my computer.

I bought a 400GB ROCK Mobile Disk for under $60 on eBay. The SATA drives in them are refurbished, but I haven't had any problems with mine in the few months I've used it. Performance is good and it just connects over USB 2.0. If the drive does ever die, you can easily replace it with any other SATA drive. Note that it uses external power, like most other 3.5" external drives, and is not powered through the USB port. Let me know if you have any other questions about it.
