i dont think so. the different powers of routers depend on the hardware in them. so unless you wanna tare it apart....then you should get a new one. i recommend a LYNKSYS or NETGREAR. they are the best for gaming!!!!

Yah my old one was a great linksys G but it dropped people on our network a lot cuz of a power surge once

I recomend A D-Link as well , they are perfect for playing , But bad for hosting games.
