Okay so before any replies saying research it. I have spent a lot of time reading into this and i cant find any solutions.
The Problem
Every time i try to use any computer screen capture device i get this problem, it will start recording as normal but on the count down to start or whatever it will zoom in on the top left corner of my screen, and this will be the only part it will record.
Ive tried:
- Camtasia Studios
- Hyper Cam
- and all the other popular ones...
All do the same, ive set them up correctly to record full screen and ive tested different techniques like lock to application but it will still only record the top left corner of my screen.
However...
I have been using FRAPS to record my Minecraft Videos and this is recording the game with no problem what so ever.. so if that helps....

I have also noticed that when i attempt to render anything such as a new intro ive made in AAE's or C4D it will again only render the top left corner of the intro / clip.
What ive found...
- Ive read up on the camtasia support someone posted this problem and it was suggested that it was a common error with that programme with 32" screens. Well mine is only 28" i believe so its not that and itsw with other programmes as well as this.
- Its my screen resolution - no its not. ive tested on every single possible screen resolution my screen can handle
So has anyone got any ideas to help me?
its appreciated if anyone can solve as i do try to make a lot of Youtube videos / tutorials but i currently cannot due to this error.
