In high school we used a compiler called Dr Java which I liked because it was pretty straight forward.. should I start using that again or is there anything better you would recommend? (give me something that's noob programmer friendly)

How do you turn the code on the compiler into a program that can run on its own? (I'm guessing I'll need some VB knowledge)

How do you get user input in Java programming? We used to import a file called "Java.In" I'm guessing it was something my teacher wrote because I remember him saying there's another way.

Lastly, how do I restrict an "int" number to 2 decimal places?
