When i got in there was a window saying Windows not compatible with your os! Then i ran CC cleaner, ran mcafee and all this crap and nothing popped up. So i tried to restore and that didnt work. So eventually i just reinstalled Win 7 Ultimate, But the files from my old windows are still virtually on my desktop but i cant see them or delete them. I think my desktop is partitioned and i want to know how to delete the corrupt win 7.. Can someone help me?

If it matters it legit Win 7...

Well since you can't see or acess it I would format the drive and reinstall
but before you try this see what others post about it

well 1st of your problem is wheird:O
anyways if its on a different partition just follow my steps
//make sure disk defragmenter service is on manual
1> run cmd
2>type cd\windows\system32
3>type diskpart
4>type list volume -shows all partitions
5>type select volume # -number you want to delete
6>type delete volume - or delete volume override

partition deleted, still its unused space... if you want you can use it with the other partition., but thats another question ^^

When you install Win7. MAKE A BACKUP.always comes in handy sometimes

D drive, c drive and External backup only showed...

well if there is no other partition showed you dont have another partition so than its an other error...
i dont know much about windows7 and i do not know any error that keeps showing your desktop after reinstall sorry mate maybe somebody else that knows about windows 7 can help you, if no one else andswers i will ask some friends in real life that might know more about it...:beer:

ye thats an good idea, call their help desk they deal with windows problems all day they know all about it.
i never heared of this problem.. so maybe they are going to be like wtf bro too:p nah they probally know what to do calling them is always good.

I recommend just getting a new hard drive. Installation is easy and there not that expensive
