It appears to be. Just look around the area for where it says "PCI x16" or something along those lines. I think i see it across from the large print "MS."
Other hints to it could be that:
I'm pretty sure PCI x16 is the only one that has a retention lever (look for that at one end)
And it sould be close to the rear of your pc with a removable cover that it will stick through.

From what i can see that does look like the PCI Express x16 :y:

Just by the looks of that computer, you might want to NOT get a capture card. Seeing as that thing has one of the EXTREMELY old network cards in it, im assuming that thing has like a single core 2GHz processor in it. and its only got a <100GB hard drive, and most likely less than 256MB of ram, i really wouldnt get a cap card because your computer cant handle it. I would work on getting a new computer first. Unless you can post the exact specs of your computer i can tell you if it can handle a cap card.

The PCI-E Slot is supposed To be used by the Graphics card, but thats not the problem since were looking for a pci-e 1x, Witch is really small.
can you post a picture showing all the motherboard if possible?

Yeah thats a single core, you need a new computer. You need a 2.5Ghz Dual-core or better for HD footage.

And that doesnt matter, you can put a PCI-E x1 card in an x16 slot.

Yea, But The video Card is probable taking that 16x slot, and a generic compac computer aint got 2 16x for sure
