Post: Kaspersky Anti-virus Scan problem

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); The the quick scan runs ok but the full scan never completes. It always gets stuck on a file after it scans 130 000 files. Its usually some random file that it gets stuck on. What should I do? I tried reinstalling it but i still get the problem.

Pichu
RIP PICHU.
Kaspersky, never heard of them.

If you have windows and are looking for a free anti-virus get Microsoft Essentials.
If you have windows and are looking for a paid anti-virus get Norton

Both are very good.

well, are you sure it isn't the same file that it keeps getting stuck on?
because maybe it is just an like 15gb file :O that takes a while to scan? otherwise i do not know what would cause that problem.
i suggest using different anti virus software.

Im going to have to disagree with both of those suggestions.

Avira for free, or even avast!

But if your going to pay get eset Nod. Norton is a system resource hog.

but back on topic, is your version of kaspersky pirated or real?

Real, its a 3-user and it works fine on my old Dell computer but I get problems on my newer computer. One time it got stuck on a JPEG file and I came back after 4-5 hours and it was still stuck. How the hell do you scan a picture for 5 hours????

Not exactly sure, sounds like you may need a fresh install of windows or something. It seems as if something is wrong with your file system.
