Post: low disk space - need help

I am error
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i have a pc on windows xp, computers abit old been through alot but now its low on disk space in c drive.. i dont know how it filled up because i store files on another drive, e drive about 120gb and c drive is 20gb. anyways it now says low disk space need to delete things so i uninstall a game 2gb, so now 2gb free everythings good i dont put anything on c drive i start computer up the next day and bang low on disk space again so it got me wondering how it happend, ive defraged and compressed files and used disk clean up and removed alot of programmes up to the important ones that i cant uninstall and ive done alot but everytime i turn the computer on the next day it once again says low on disk space and is very slow now and was wondering if any of u had this problem or could give advice. is it some kind of virus because norton aint picking up anything.

its not a virus m8 its only that the hdd memory is very low and the 2gb prob may be some update you did otherwise consider buying another internal hdd.... Winky Winky

i got 3 internal hard drives c,d and e. c,d are both 20gb i think and e is 120gb i dont know what c is doing on how it got like that but d aint doing anything and e is storing all my downloads could i use e or d drive as what c drive is? yea thinkin of just getin a whole new one i just use this one coz my brother wont let me do things on his lol, but its get a new one or format c drive somehow or would formatting not solve the problem?

Well 20 gigs for a drive is small to begin with... Just purchase a new hard drive or better yet start saving for a new computer..

lol yea it is but it was heaps back in the day, thinking of getting some parts for another computer, so far got a basic case a 500wat psu and a basic hd video card, bit short on cash for the rest atm so this gotta do for now

If you dont have to much on there just wipe it clean and reinstall windows.. I mean you said you kept a lot of it on another drive anyway

Thats bad advice. You can get the same drives, but 1TB is $10 more.
