(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, I have a few problems maybe some of you wise folk can help me with.. or give me my best options.

I had since bought a new computer but want to fix a issue with my old computer for my brother so he can use it. here it goes!

I have a older custom built computer and got the "System tools" Virus on it. It litterally would lock me outta everything in my computer. I dont know if i should remove the hard drive and just put a brand new on in or if i should try to remove it?

If i did put a new hard drive in i dont have a re install disc for windows xp even though its authentic and i have the sticker on the side.

Whats my best option as far as removal? any links or tutorials will be helpful and +rep.

RIP PICHU.
Just reformat the drive, it will clear EVERYTHING you have on the computer and let you start out as if it was new.

Place the disc into the computer, then turn it off then on. An option should appear, use it and you will be loaded into window that will allow you to remove the drives on your computer. Delete them, then re-install. Once installed, just do updates to the computer, add anti-virus, and then add other programs you wish to add and your done.

Everything is clear. Just be sure to back up anything you wanna keep on a flash drive.
