Today I installed on my pc vmware last version (I dont remember what number lol) and I have a copy of damn small linux with a .vmx file. I booted dsl and got it running but I noticed that the folder in my pc that the dsl .iso and .vmx started filling up with some new files that ate almost 200mb of my memory. Now my pc has only 174mb left of hard drive memory (from the 450+ mb that I had at the beggining) My question is: Is this only a one time memory fillup or does this cotinue happening in the process of using the linux??? plz help and dont flame and MODS if this is in a wrong section plz move Winky WinkyWinky WinkyWinky Winky

This has happened to be with VirtualBox as well.

However I have 100GB so for me it isn't a problem.

Would it be possible to take a picture of those files? Just so I can take a look, although it is probably from the OS that your trying to install.

As far as I know, this should happen, however, I could be mistaken.
