How to add the NGU shout box to your website

Example :

You must login or register to view this content.

If you are Lazy skip to the bottom and use the code down there.

Tutorial

1. You will need your websites index page or any other page you want this on. Once you have the site page you want to edit opened in a text editor follow the next step.

You must login or register to view this content.

2. Go to You must login or register to view this content. and go to any video, once you do this you should see a button below the video saying "Share" click that then click "embed" now a code should appear so now you want to make sure that none of the boxes are ticked if any of them are un-tick them then copy the code.

You must login or register to view this content.

3. Now go Back to your text editor and paste the youtube code where you want, (note if the page you are applying this too is a php page then you want to put the code in the following box in and where it says your code her you want to past your code there , dont forget to remove the text your code here)
    <?php
echo"
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC \"-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN\" \"https://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd\">
<html xmlns=\"https://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml\" xml:lang=\"en\" lang=\"en\">

Your code here !!!!!!!!

</html>";

?>

If your page is a html page just paste the youtube code where you want the shoutbox to appear.

You must login or register to view this content.

3. Now we have placed the youtube code we must replace the video with the shoutbox, so you now want to remove the following :
    https://www.youtube.com/embed/pctmvxqKyH0?rel=0
, (Leave the quotation marks) now replace that with the following code :
    https://www.nextgenupdate.com/forums/idetach.php

Your code should look similar to this : You must login or register to view this content.

4. You will notice the size may be too big or too small so just change the following to your own liking:

You must login or register to view this content.

5. Re-upload your page onto your hosting account and check the live shout box !!

Lazy People Here : <center><iframe width="840" height="480" src="https://www.nextgenupdate.com/forums/idetach.php" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></center>

When did YouTube become a web standard? :lol:

And, hate to be this person, but you have declared your <!DOCTYPE> as XHTML 1.0 Strict. XHTML 1.0 Strict does not allow for the <center> tag to be used.
