(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys, please leave a post telling me what you like and dislike about Windows, Mac, and Linux. i may make an operating system with my friend in a few weeks. we are going to make a 3d GUI which should push the OS standards up a little. then we are going to attempt to make an AI that will talk to you and do what you tell it to do. kinda like Jarvis in iron man. please leave your feed back on what else we should add and tell us if you think we should add the 3D GUI and the AI.

Linux FTW.

I'm going to be negative for a sec.

Windows are assholes. Their products are the least reliable out of all the three. Frequent Re-formats and other junk software are needed to maintain it. However, the highest amount of programs.

Apple are greedy. Their products are often overpriced, but are full featured OS'es. They have quality apposed to quantity, however they are behind in the hardware part.

Linux is too light. There is no way in hell you should make this your primary OS. There are pretty much no programs on it that are of much use when you look at the Apple and MS variants. There aren't that many features which is why I never understood why people would ditch Windows or Mac for Linux.

well linux isn't for people who don't know how to use the command line.
it has plenty of programs. just not that good for gaming.
i've been dual booting with windows 7 for about a month now, and i just can't make myself give up windows 7 just yet, but i've been booting into kubuntu more often. and i really only use windows 7 for one thing gaming. but for my work and programming i use linux.
and since wine came out i haven't used windows 7 at all really. just got minecraft to run on linux.
so idk i choose linux. and mac shouldn't be anyones first choice in OS as they're too expensive. mr. jobs need to fix that.
i'd say first choice would ultimately be windows as it's the easiest and most familiar.
and linux if your into programming and such.
