Building my own on that budget I would go with, brings you close to $1100 everything else is small stuff.
1)ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe Intel Z68 Motherboard around $260
2)Intel Core i7-2600K I think $300
3)Corsair 8GB kit around $70 I would double up on that for 16GB
4)PSU Corsair 850W around $100
5)EVGA gtx 560I ds oc <I just bought this one for $240 came with Batman game code
6) Cool Master full tower Haf case for about $120
