Post: New PC, Max £600 Budget

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ^^ Title. Excluding the hard drive, including a graphics card, specifically the Nvidia GTX 560 (Ti?) :bro:

P.S. For you Americans who didn't realise, that's a pound sign up there, not a dollar sign Winky Winky

P.P.S. I'm happy to custom build a PC out of the parts if someone could direct me to a tutorial :p

Was that meant to be a joke?

Go look in the Computer Gaming Section, I assume you want the PC for gaming because you want a good graphics card.
Lots of good threads to help you there Winky Winky

I don't know any U.K sites but here is a build i made just for you. You could probably get it cheaper on different sites but i just used newegg as an estimate.

You must login or register to view this content.

Case: COOLER MASTER HAF 932 ADVANCED FULL TOWER
Reason: Well full towers give you a lot of space to work with but it isn't necessary. You can get a 922 mid tower case instead

Cpu: i5 2500k
reason: currently the best cpu for gaming and you can also over clock it.

MotherBoard:ASROCK Z68 EXTREME3 GEN 3
reason: It has almost everything you can need. 2 6gbs sata connectors, 3.0 usb, 2 pci 3.0 slots, and it is backwards compatible with ivy bridge saving you money!

Video Card: EVGA GEOFORCE TI 360 1 GB 256 BIT
Reason: Can play most games on ultra and also evga is a great company that makes quality cards but if you want a cheaper card then you can choose a different company. If this is the case, I recommend MSI or Gigabyte.

Ram: G skill 8 gb(2x 4gb) dual channel kit value series card
Reason: It's a pretty standard memory stick and it's cheaper because it doesnt have those fancy heat spreaders which you don't need and also gets in the way in certain builds

PSU(power supply unit): Antec high current gamer series 750 watts
Reason: Cheap and lots of watts. This should be more than enough even on maximum load such as two cards in sli/cf and over clocking the cpu all at once and more.

Optical drive(cd/dvd/bluray): I just picked a cheap 20 dollar dvd drive but you can probably drop it and recycle one from one of your old computers. You can probably afford a blu ray drive if you want one.

Upgrades to consider that might break your budget*:
-Blu ray drive
- a 570 video card*
-A ssd for faster O.S loading*
- another hard drive**

**Because of a recent flood in Thailand, hard drives such as western digital and seagate are way higher in price. I was shocked because i was going to order a 1 tb cavier black for like 78 and it RAISED all the way to 180. It's so unbelievable TT.TT so that is something to consider. If you want another hard drive then the seagate barracuda is the way to go but if the prices go down back to normal than the cavier black would do perfect.

Hope this helps =D!
