(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I want to completely erase my HDD on my 32-bit desktop that has Windows Vista Basic and it's really starting to annoy me, anyways I've been googling for the last hour and could find a noob friendly tut. so if anybody can help with giving me a download link to Windows 7 Ultimate and give me step by step on wiping my HDD and re-installing W7U.

Thanks in advance.

I do not think you can get ultimate from this link anymore but I know you can get home premium and its a legit download you know its safe nothing slipped in to it its also microsofts official vendor.
You must login or register to view this content.

Also I would go to google and type in active kill disc grab that run the file either burn it or make a bootable usb the program will do it for you.
Then simply restart your pc go in to bios and set it to boot from disc if you put it on a disc or usb (if your bios can boot from usb check first)

This will fully wipe your hard drive making it nearly as brand new with no data on it at all.

One more thing a lot of windows 7 discs I have used do not come with network drivers for some stupid reason so before you wipe your drive right click on my computer go to properties then device manager then check network adaptors to see which one you have and then grab them for when you format.

Can not remember where I got it might have been from that link but im using a sick copy of ultimate its already pre activated I get all the updates etc.

Here's the guide, written by meh. :3

So you know when you're PC starts up, there's a little splash screen that says the name of the manufacturer? That's what you need.

1.) Burn the downloaded "x86(32 bit)/en_windows_7_ultimate_x86_dvd_x15-65921.iso" to a CD-RW (with more than 4GB of space), with You must login or register to view this content..) Once completed, follow this guide to step 6, return here. You must login or register to view this content..) After you have clicked "Custom", click you're HDD's partition name (OS), click "Drive options", and click Format.

4.) Just click next and it'll install Windows!
