(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well last friday I decided I was going to go with triple monitors. And since then it's been nothing but a headache.

SLI bridges are actually rather annoying to come by if your board isn't "SLI ready" because SLI ready boards come with the bridge. So that's kinda where I was screwed. Good thing Ebay has a ton of them listed.

Another issue I ran into was deskspace. I figured I'd have enough till I actually took the time to measure it out. Turns out 2 will be fine, but 3 is pushing it, so aside from dropping $400 on monitors + $350 on the card, I now need to either build a desk or drop another $200 - $300 on a corner desk. Starting to get a little pricey. It's ok it's only gonna get better

Well today my card came (no SLI bridge yet :frown: ) and so Im looking at this card and I realize that it's a much larger card then my current 570. I knew when I got it that it was different because it was labeled as Super Clocked but I really didnt think the size would be different.

So I empty the case since the power supply just eats up room and I throw the card in and this is what I see.

Right where the new card sits (top card) it's now basically in the hard drive bays. So now I can't actually put anything there. Before I had 3 drives running down. Now I can only have 1 on top and have to rig the other 2 in the DVD bays since with me no having to run power to the first and second card ( oh and this is the best part, I have a high end PSU that doesnt have a PCIe 8 pin connector, just an 8 pin for the motherboard, so I have to run 2 of my 6 pins to an 8 pin converter) It's just a mess at this point.

And this is the rigging for the hard drives since the screws dont line up:

It's safe to say I am getting a new case next week for sure with the hard drive bays that load on the side rather then how you have to do it on this one. Not to mention dont do this with a Mid ATX tower. Its just not gonna work all that well. Or at least not with an Antec 300.

Anyways I'll be updating this as I get new stuff in

Are you sure that's a 570 on top? It really doesn't look like one.

It's a superclocked GTX 570, the cards are actually identical just it requires an 8 pin and is a smidge bit faster

Mine is superclocked and it takes two six pins. You can still SLI those as long as they have the same amount of memory.

Even if they don't you still can, there is a tweak for the registry you have to do

Well I got the new case, sadly still have a little of a cable problem simply because this isn't modular. Its like a ****ing octopus of cables.
