(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've been having a few wifi problems. Long story short, my new windows 7 laptop and all iDevices wont connect to my dads wifi. The laptop and my iPods work fine at mums but not at dads.

I've tried the following to fix it:

Resetting the modem
Hard reseting the modem
Restarting my laptop
Adding the network again
Ringing up my provider and changing settings for my internet protocal; ip, dns, subnet mask, etc.
Reseting my wifi password, even changing it.
Resetting my ipods network settings
Changing my authentification type

Nothing has helped. I type in my password properly and it wont work.

Here's some more info:

My modem is a 2wire on Bigpond, my authenification is a 10 digit numeric password, my wifi used to work on my ipod about a year ago and then stopped working and then we moved and it still wont work. Our modem is probably about 5 years old.

Everything is right. On you're PC it says your on "WPA-PSK" then that means your Router/Modem is on WPA-PSK. Also make sure that the Wireless passcode is proper. There Case-Sensitive.

I type it in right. If it helps it's a 10 digit numeric password.

Next thing i could think of is a IP Address Conflict. Of one of your devices attempting to take an already used Router IP.

Do a quick reset on your iDevice Wireless by going "Settings > General > Reset Settings > Reset Network" and doing that. That should remove it's wanna-be IP.

No still wont work. I do think it's something to do with the modem. Every iDevices that tries to use our wifi, and my laptop, wont work. Ipods used to work, a long time ago.

Could you get your hands on a new modern router to see if that is the solution?
