C:|program files\ Rock of Ages\Binaries\Win32|RoA.exe
The application has failed to start because its side by side configuration is incorrect. please see the application event log for more detail

Reinstall, check for latest patches, also read the support forums for that game. You are guaranteed to find something about your problem. Their will be support for every problem you run across.
