I don't think I need to explain what it needs to do, I just want a powerful yet reliable router.

I just have bad experience with them
And in the world of routers most people who know what they're talking about usually advise against Belkin.

I have two.
They're fine if you already have it, they're not bad enough for me to go out and buy a different one.
But if I was buying one now, I wouldn't choose them.

Well, I just got this router (You must login or register to view this content.) a few days ago, and it works amazing compared to my old router. I pay for 30Mbps download / 2Mbps upload, and in my room I was barely getting 14Mbps / 1Mbps. With this new router, the speed has literally doubled. Here's the speedtest results from it that I just did.

However, it is $150, so if you can swing the extra $50, I'd definetly go for it.
