(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hello, I have been trying to fix this for a while now but have had no luck. My PC shuts down whenever I am playing a game from anything from 5 mins to 45 mins. To me it seems like my PSU isn't working correctly but I thought I will get a second opinion.

Any help is appreciated, Thank you.

My specs are:

Windows 7
4GB Ram
nVidia gtx 550 ti
AMD Athlon II x 3
Corsair cx430 psu
nVidia MCP61

Over heating? Whats in the application/system event logs? Usually if it only happens when pushing the GPU it is a drivers/hardware issue.

I found this critical on one of the system event logs.

430W PSU is borderline with this rig. The PSU may be starving your computer of power. Either that or it's defective. Do you have a different PSU to test it on?

You must login or register to view this content. It is more than enough for your rig and Corsair is awesome,You can get the 550W or for $8 more the 650W,In my opinion i would go with the 650W since you're rig needs a minimum of 500W and i like to over compensate especially when it's only $8 more,I have a Corsair Enthusiast TX 850W and it is awesome :y:
