Recently AMD have dropped the prices on some of their high end graphics cards in order to compete with Nvidia's New Graphics cards. Why did they do this? Nvidia recently released their GTX 680 and maybe AMD feel as though they have some competition with the 7970 so instead of bringing out a new graphics card just yet they deicded to give us what they already have at a lower price while maintaining specs almost identical specifications to the GTX 680. Maybe they still want to show a bit of superiority over Nvidia.[/CODE]

Frames Per Second from each gaphics card can be found below

Not sure where you got that chart, but unless they're running at an extremely high resolution, all the graphics cards on that list will get much better results than shown.
And the 680 is actually a good bit more powerful than the 7970, not identical Winky Winky

Running anything less than 1080p with a $500 GPU is just :dumb: The results are accurateish since there is no integrated benchmarking system on BF3.

And yes, the 680 is actually better. If I could only find somewhere to pick one up...Gaspkay:
