(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i heard hdmi has greater quality then just the standard vga to vga conversion.
so from my understanding, the vga(goes into the computer) and the hdmi (goes into the computer monitor), would'nt require a converter b/c i already have a set of speakers connected to the computer?.
thank you for your help

It does require a conversion. Any VGA male to hdmi male without some sort of conversion is fake, or does not work properly. Here is a real one I found if you are interested. You must login or register to view this content.

VGA has a resolution limit , i think it gets fuzzy around 1080p. If yourr monitor has DVI, i would go with that.

DVI or HDMI are the main ones you want to use now. VGA is getting outdated.

Even if you use a converter, you won't be improving the quality in anyway.

DVI and HDMI have the same quality. Just DVI only transmits video, no audio.
If you only have a DVI port then yes, you will need a converter to put in the HDMI cable.
