(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey well I'm from Australia and looking to build my first gaming pc, I want to be able to play all the newest games on the highest settings and hopefully for a bit of time to come! I also use web browsing and a bit of multimedia, nothing too stressful!

Heres my specs so far, any advice?

Case: Fractal Design Define R3 Titanium Mid Tower Case or NZXT Phantom 410, which one of them is better? If they are both good I will just go for looks.
Mobo: Asus P8Z77-M Motherboard
CPU: Intel i5 3550
RAM: Corsair DDR3 8GB (2x Vengeance 4GB) 1600MHz CL9
HDSad Awesome Seagate 3.5" Barracuda 1TB ST1000DM003
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 2GB OC for $519 or ZOTAC nVidia 670 2GB $449, I realise the Gigabyte is better but is it really worth $70 extra, will it make too much difference?
PSU: XFX ProSeries 550W Core Edition 80+ Bronze

Whats your thoughts on that? Will I be able to play pretty much all games on high settings with good FPS?

Thanks!

Ok the Fractal case is good and it looks good to boot,The motherboard and RAM are awesome, The HDD is ok but I have heard bad story's about the barracuda's reliability I would go with Western digital but they cost more,The GPU is good I would go with the Gigabyte since it is factory overclocked and they are a good brand I don't really know about Zotac,And for the CPU I would go with an Intel i5 3570k incase you want to do a little overclocking later on, And the PSU I know XFX make good GPU's but I don't know about there PSU lineup I would go with corsair as they are one of the best in the market for PSU's and also since you are getting a small case I would highly HIGHLY recommend you get a modular power supply for less clutter,I have a mid tower case and I barley have room for the extra cables of my non-mudular PSU, This PSU would be perfect You must login or register to view this content. If the above build is $1200 this will go over a little but you will have an awesome PC and can play BF3 and Skyrim on ULTRA without a sweat Smile

Thanks mate, but with those changes I think I will end up going over a fair bit, which I just don't know If I will be able to do seeing as I'm not including Mouse/KB/Windows/Monitor in this thread!

Also with the motherboard, will an mATX be okay, it looks like it has everything I need (which I'm not that sure on so yeah) but I dont know just would like an opinion on it from someone who knows more!

What about this PSU? You must login or register to view this content.
