(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm in need of a new monitor as the old one start to fade out, and I've been looking into getting a 3D monitor, as I really enjoy watching 3d movies in the theaters. What do I need to look for? What do I need besides the monitor, Does the GPU mastter?(I have a GTX 670). Also what glasses would I need?

I honestly think they are a waste of money, and have little benefit. If I were you I'd have a look at something like a Yamasaki Catleap, far far better.
But to answer you're questions; No, all new GPUs are capable of 3D, and other than the monitor and the glasses you won't need anything, you should get one pair of glasses with the monitor and you can buy more for like 50euro.

None whatsoever. I just don't like any sort of 3D.
