What is your budget? And are you looking to be using this to be portable? Because "gaming laptops" is an oxymoron.

You either choose battery and weight, or performance. If you are using it for performance, get a desktop. If you are looking for the combination (which is really inefficient since you're running okay weight, okay battery life and okay performance, post your budget.

First off, thank you for not wanting an Alienware. You are smart. Smile

If I had to custom build a laptop, check out ibuypower. You pick all the parts of it, and then they build it and ship it to you. They make mainly gaming PC's, so it would probably be exactly what you need.

I have a laptop that runs games such as BF and Crysis at good speed and quality. I don't believe people when they say that a laptop is not meant for gaming other than an Alienware, but Alienwares are too expensive anyways. Laptops are still capable of running games with great graphics.

My computer is a Gateway NV55S05u:
AMD Radeon HD 6620G
6GB DDR3
AMD Quad-Core Processor A8-3500M - 1.50 GHz
640GB HDD

Overall it's really great and I got it for 520$ at Staples. It was very worth it, I haven't had any lag issues or crashes in games. Online play is also very descent.
