What it does is u tell ur partner ( person ur connecting with ) like ur info when u load team viewer which is on the left side says like pass and id u give him ID and pass and then they can see everything on your computer but dont have full control of it cuz u can quickly press a button to turn it off or cancel it they can control ur mouse if ur not using it so like if they wanted to show u how to do sumthing. and theres buttons at the top and 1 says file transfer and other stuff u can probably fiqure it out from there.

Remember when installing Hit the Check Box tht says FOR PERSONAL USE not Buisness, y cuz buisness cost money u will get 1 day free trial with private use until u enter email and stuff under the tab on the program and click check box for personal use agian and then u have it 4eva here is some pics of it, theres is more advanced ways of file transfering but this is the easiest for people who dont kno a clue how.

As u can see in the second image u can file transfer something from the local machine which is urs and the remote machine which is the person u connected two either way to any place.
