I cannot do a 'Windows 7' restore as I do not have a disk because my computer came with Windows 7 pre-installed.
So if anyone has managed to restore their computer, please explain how I would do this.

Also the whole "Press F8 on startup" doesn't work, it shows no option to press F8, and when I do, nothing happens.
F2 shows Registry, and F12 shows Boot Menu.

Pirate a windows 7 ISO from somewhere piratebay etc. and mount it on a CD or USB plug it into the computer and install then when prompted to put in your serial number do that and done. Also make sure you have the boot order set correctly on the motherboard otherwise your pc won't boot from USB or CD first.

Infact >laptop, what sort of laptop are we talking here because a standard Win7 iso won't work as you need your laptops default drivers (though you may be able to just install win 7 then get all your drivers of the net) usually most laptops come with a function to make recover disks my vaio has that though in the event that you don't make recover disks and fuck up your install you need to either order recover disks or just install something like ububtu on your laptop instead or as I said above install standard win 7 then get the drivers from the net.

Goto the start menu and search 'restore' and some restore options will pop up.

Most PC's don't come with a CD anymore.

Like mine it has a build in OS restore program. Does your PC have that all?

If not, pirate Windows 7, mount it onto a USB or CD and boot from that. I believe you can repair/reinstall Windows 7 from that.

They're programs out there to keep your serial key for Windows 7. A quick Google search will get you that.

Click start orb then right click computer now click properties then on the left plane click action centre. Now click recovery then advance recovery methods. Now click return your computer to factory condition and follow on screen instructions. Hope this helps Smile
