(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've had WIndow 8 since it's beta release a long time ago, and I love very bit of it. Except for 1 thing, don't get me wrong, I like the music app, but it fucks off everytime I go back to Windows with the Windows button + Tab. Wtf? How is an ordinary consumer like my mother for instance gonna know these shortcuts? Anyway, luckily, I'm ok with it comes to PC's, but not good enough, APParantly... Is there a way to get the Music app minimized in my taskbar instead of it fucking off whenever I go to Windows using the Windows button + Tab? And vice versa? It's annoys the crap out of me... And wha abouta library withint Music? Has that magically disAPPeared for no reason too? Man, I hate these hidden things in Windows 8...

Edit: This is what I mean, I love the looks, all the pictures in the background and the color on the front etc:

You must login or register to view this content.

But where's my taskbar? Where's my library?

Right Click -> Open With -> Choose Default Program

Make sure the check mark is checked. Assigned it to open with Windows Media Player.

Library within can be linked with the Windows Media Player by default. Window Apps are, for the most part, only active when actively being viewed. When you exit them; they tend to pause.

As for making it appear in taskbar; no. These applications are designed for Metro viewing; they are not desktop applications.

Use Windows Media Player; you won't get that cool appearance but it will be functional and you can minimize.

Was it the one that Windows came with or did you install it from the store. If you installed it from the store just right click on the downloaded metro app and click "uninstall" or "remove".

You can also just do what I originally stated and just change the default to Windows Media Player and you can leave that for when you just want to listen to music and not have your main desktop operating.

It came with Windows 8 itself. So there's no customized music app for Windows 8? Nobody thought of adding a library to it? Dafuq?

Metro apps do not equal desktop app. The two operate differently. One operates alongside the desktop while the other essentially operates alone.
