(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright guys currently typing this on my iPhone because my computer has been crippled by some virus within the last 2 days. I have been able to run programs like adobe after effects and Sony Vegas with a breeze until yesterday. Now it is to a point where google chrome takes 5 min to load and Internet pages a laggy as hell, heck I can't even load YouTube videos now. I have mcafee and I was starting to use that to find out what is wrong, only the problem is is that it scans 10 files every second....I HAVE OVER 650000 files!!!! At that rate it will be done in 18 hours...ain't nobody got time for that!!! I have to schedule my classes for college tomorrow and a laggy computer is not preferred when fighting for the last spot in a class. So my questions are, what do you think is wrong with my computer? What virus scanners and detectors are faster than mcafee and offer the same protection (preferably free)? And how do I uninstall mcafee without it freaking out once I get a new virus protection? I know you can't have 2 at the same time or they will fight with each other.


UPDATE: I got Microsoft security essentials and that is doing a scan now, ill see what it finds.
