(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); When i watch youtube videos or something on bbci player, i click view in full screen option but only it isn't proper full screen. There's borders at the top and bottom of the screen bellow the play bar and above the video.
Full screen playback works fine when i watch a dvd or a movie I've downloaded, just not when i'm watching something directly on the net.
Does anybody know what i can do to remove these borders? Just to give you a example of what i mean, here's a screen shot of a video with the borders problem.

It's like that for every single video i watch on the internet on both chrome, internet explorer and firefox.
Any help would be awesome.

Try setting your screen resolution to another see if that makes any difference, also my monitor has a auto button which sets the screen to the best settings. Also take a read through this thread (You must login or register to view this content.).

It appears to be something with the resolution, at the moment the screen i have only supports 1400x900 so it's giving the borders.
When i connected my pc to my tv and tried it in 1900 option it took away the borders.
so looks like i'll be investing in a new screen. Thank you for posting that suggestion. I hadn't even thought of trying to adjust the resolution.
