It depends what you mean by "better", if it's better value for performance then go for AMD, if it's better performance but at a slightly higher cost then go for Intel.

It's personal choice at the end of the day, you can build beastly rigs from both AMD and Intel CPU's.

yeah.agree. amd has better price/performance ratio.
