Your laptop uses integrated graphics so your gaming will be limited. Technically it would run alot of games, but they have to be on low settings. check out this site for reference: You must login or register to view this content.

RIP PICHU.
Your laptop is great for school and using crap, you can play a lot of games from 2007 and back for sure. You are going to play a lot of games on low settings that are more recent. You have HD 3000 which is a bit older as we now have HD 4000, HD 5000, HD 5100, and HD 5200 for integrated graphics.

Preferably, HD 4000 would be a good minimum for a i5 and to get HD 3000 is kinda BS.

It's not so bad. you don't need to use the app or detection process, viewing the requirements (third option) is the best thing to do and will save you a lot of headaches
