You can just Google a free antivirus or find some keys and get a paid one.

At the moment I'm using Avast (just a random antivirus), but it seems to work good.

Use a PC optimization tool like CCleaner, it makes a major difference in your speed and performance.

You can make your PC faster by making sure certain programs don't load on start and network wise not much you can do

Also, you could upgrade to an SSD, they significantly improve your speed.

Click *windows sign* and R and serach /Temp then delete everything in that folder. Then do the same but this time precatch and also delete everything. Clear any unnecessary downloads in download directory and then Run Disk cleaner (windows stock) and use it. Voila. Once you deleted all them files make sure you empty your recycle bin dude.
