During multiplayer the game suddenly freezes and then crashes.And since I bought the game the day it was released, i have not even had an hour at any 1 time without something cropping up.To be honest I think the "big wigs at activision" have hoodwinked the gamers by only letting this game play through steam.Valve have a platform for gaming that is tantermount to a STEAMing pile of crap.I played day of defeat for 8 years and always played it through HLSW as steam is so unstable and now with no dedicated servers you have sadly missed the point of why cod4 was so popular.Yes we all know its the biggest grossing game in history, but gamers , like myself , have spent our hard earned money on this and other activision products because cod4 was such a good game.Why fix something or change it when it works just fine as it is?and sadly profit and the good old dollar are all that matters because its profits that companys like activision,care about and not the consumers, because to release this game through steam ,it makes a massive saving for activision , therefore bigger profits. The gameplay in comparison to cod4 is just so poor.So now you are going to ask me if my system is good enough, there you go:

Drivers are all up to date , so now your going to tell me to turn down the resolution in game , why????Thats why I spent a lot of money on my system, so I could play games that looked good to, and now you your going to tell me I cant!!!! You will also tell me to turn off the hardware acceleration in the desktop properties which for the life of me I can not see why I should. The game options hasnt even got audio settings for 7.1 surround sound!!! And in the controls options you dont even have the facility or option to use the tilt on a centre wheel gaming mouse.The game has been rushed out for Christmas , without much thought, other than profit. My cod4 plays in 1920x1200 and I have had to cap the fps at 200 with no slowdown at all , but as soon as steam rears its ugly head then things just go from bad to worse.. I myself will be asking for a refund off activision for the return of the game , as i dont see why i should be forced to play it through the steaming pile of crap.. Thankyou for your time in reading this and it will be posted up on all the big gaming forums and to activision h.q. just to see what reaction and feedback it gets from the people who buy and use this product..
